"We absolutely loved this hotel! (Visiting the UK from USA). The lobby/bar/dining area is so welcoming and cozy - love the decor. The food was great as well. Only tiny complaint would be the faint smoke odor in the room but it’s clearly an old building and they done nice upgrades to it. "

"The whole place is exceptional! We have stayed before and as a family it’s one of our happy places. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are so welcoming and attentive, facilities are spotless and it’s a beautiful setting and interior design. The food wasn’t as good as our previous stays the restaurant was a little slow and our food was on the cold side but the charming staff made up for it. "Room was huge with a large comfy king size bed. Plush dressing gowns and towels. Air con didn’t cool the room down very much and although I had a balcony couldn’t leave the door open as room was near the road. Not that you heard it with the door shut. Lovely hotel. Great location an beautiful views. "
