My two young kids had plenty of room to play, and the closet area was huge with lots of shelves. Bathroom was very nice, huge shower and hot water every time. Location was great, too, 5-minute walk from most places we wanted to go (Teatro Juarez, funicular, Hidalgo Market). We’d happily stay here again. "

"We were shocked that this hotel was rated so highly. A few major issues: (1) upon arrival, I was required to pay an additional fee of 400 pesos as my Expedia reservation stated that only one guest was arriving when we were two. The reservation was for a king suite - so it didn’t make any sense and felt like something you might expect 20 years ago. (2) the air in the lobby seemed perfumed which was not pleasant, (3) the room had windows only towards the interior atrium, (4) the bed was rock hard, (5) there were no outlets on one side of the bed. Overall it felt like a cheap hotel from the quality of furnishings. "
