Staff were very prompt and attentive despite an ongoing connection issue with our TV in the room, and there was a water pressure issue the last day of our stay which caused a back up in the bathroom. I forgot to take a photo, but the wallpaper in the corner of the room was affected by water damage. We did use the hotel spa services. Overall, the hotel is very beautiful. This was our second time in Guanajuato City, and staying in the La Presa neighborhood was pleasant and a quieter vibe than centro.

Great spot, bus stops almost outside to take you right into Centro or of course an easy taxi ride. My only issue was that that the photo of the room I booked showed a window and I had no window. The receptionist said a lot of rooms didn’t have windows. Room was very nice, spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. There is a beautiful terrace with fantastic views. My room was on the top floor which was a challenge for me

Got to the hotel at 2pm and were told our room wasn’t ready yet. We decided to wait and sat at the tables outside of reception. At exactly 3pm they told us our room was ready. We were then given the room right next to reception where we had been sitting. Nobody had walked in or out of the room in that entire hour. I understand checkin is at 3 but that’s pretty ridiculous. There were some (body) hairs on the floor of the bathroom that definitely weren’t ours but otherwise room was ok and the attached restaurant is great.
