"Fantastic hotel. One of the best we’ve come across in Germany. Spacious, clean and comfortable room, with a good shower too! Hotel has a lounge with free snacks and drinks too. Staff were very friendly. Location is obviously at a main train station so all sorts of people around but didn’t feel unsafe and was very convenient to get trams and trains to major attractions. Also has good shops and food around the hotel. Would have loved some English language entertainment channels on the tv."

"The hotel lobby have a food kitchen smell and think it needs to be revisited. The room is great and location is great. Breakfast is very bad and poor selection I would not recommend it."

"A great place to stay! Location was perfect for us. Staff was amazing both at the front desk and bar. Loved the rich history of the hotel and wished I could learn the stories and history of the travelers that had passed through this oldest hotel in Munich but loved the mini museum off the staircase. The room was fine and bed super comfy. The bathroom is a bit small, our safe didn’t work and our view was multiple rooftops but we didn’t stay long in the room anyway. Their “in room free mini bar” consisted of two small bottles of water and two small treats - misleading. But, we did get vouchers for the bar which was nice. They share on their sight a 24 hour shuttle service to the airport which is very misleading. They helped get a taxi for us for our return trip to the airport but there is no hotel shuttle and didn’t find out until after we landed and called the hotel to find out how to get the shuttle. Taxi is about €120. Would definitely stay here again."

"Location was great for me. Walking distance through a short cut by the river banks to the nearest tram station or a 10min downhill walk from Rosenheimer Station. I truly enjoyed my morning walks at Maximiliansanlagen park. Lots of eating and grocery store access nearby. The hotel room was clean, comfortable bed and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only comment I can share is the weird layout of the room. Entrance to the room is a bit tight with the cupboards on one side and the bar on the other side. One has to wheel in one luggage at at time through the narrow passage. The toilet by the entrance is small and have no sink for washing hands after toilet activities. The bathroom is huge and opens to the bed with a separate bath tub and shower. This will be useful for some but for not me. There is a big honking heavy luggage bench at the middle of the room which is not very helpful and quite an eyesore. I sure enjoyed the gym, pool and the sauna. Very clean and not so busy after the kids curfew at 8pm Overall a great experience and will recommend and stay again when back in Munich."

"We had an excellent stay. Wonderful hotel, clean, tidy, very helpful staff and the hotel is in a really good location. Rooms were excellent, each one with a record player and access to some great Vinyls in the reception area. Beds were comfy and rooms were well laid out. No air conditioning, which was tough during our stay during the heat wave, but staff were happy to provide fans or Aircon units if available. We were within short walking distance to Deutsche Museum and the hotel is very close to the No.17 Tram that took you into the centre of Munich. About 5 min walk from RosenheimerPlatz station that is direct to Munich airport on the S8 train. If you like running there’s a really great 7k+ route along the river and into English Gardens from the hotel, map provided at reception. Thanks to everyone at Jams"

"This hotel has an amazing location, is clean, modern and a great overnight stay. No complaints whatsoever. However, there is an opportunity to improve the customer experience with a bit more human interaction or staff. The automated process was a bit sterile and there were delays for customers when staff had to help people with the automated check-in process. There was only one staff member available, that I saw at the front entrance. This happened several times while we passed through the hotel entrance. Even with this small inconvenience I would very much recommend."
