"Loved this property! It’s was very clean. Loved the themed decor. We had the Octopus room with view of the coffee house across the street with a peek a boo view of the bay from the balcony. We went on Memorial Day weekend & it was very pleasant. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place on the table & electric fire place in the room. Beds were very comfy. We will be going back & get a room over looking the bay next time. Highly recommend!!!"

"The building was very unique, gorgeous and well done! The room was beautiful and clean. The shower was amazing. The bed was a tad bit uncomfortable but much better than other hotels. It was easy to access our room and the building. Loved that it was small and one story. Close to the beach, food and shopping. We will definitely be staying at The Q Inn again."

"If you’re on the second floor, get ready to lug your luggage up and down the stairs. It is an older hotel but it was clean and had a nice view. I would only stay there again if I made sure I was on the top level."

"The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They don’t clean your room every day, but if you want it cleaned, they will clean it. Since I am not a messy person, I just asked for clean towels and other necessities as I needed them so I was fine with that. All in all, our five nights here were great."

"The parking is the worst if you own a 1/2 ton truck, so you’re better off parking on the street with low risk of meter maid tickets. My room did not have an ocean view, but I walked over on the second floor there is a patio that has that Ocean view. Walking distance to the Embarcadero is what makes this Hotel the best location."

"We got the room with the hydro tub which was really awesome and such a cool thing to have in a room, it was like a little spa getaway which was nice. The staff on the other hand was really rude. We got overcharged and they did nothing but make us feel like we didn’t know what we were talking about! We were charged for early check in which was expected and the $100 hold, but they charged the early check in twice, we mentioned this to the front desk and they argued with us and just stated that all...

"The room was clean, spacious and comfortable bed. The only "bad" observation is the limited parking, we got lucky because a guest was leaving at the moment we arrived. Very close to harbor area and it has a view of the morro rock. If you plan to check in late, call them. My husband and I forgot to do it and almost lost the room. After 10:30pm there is no help in the front desk."
