"The proximity to Watkins Glen was exceptional. We were able to get to the Watkins State Park is just about five minutes. Where we were able to enjoy our hike and visit to the lake water front and downtown area. The staff was helpful, we stayed two nights, the staff cleaned the room while we were away and provided us with extra towels. Parking was plentiful and the property was quiet in the evening. "This was, without a doubt, the most bizarre and worst experience that I have had at a hotel. I was traveling with my girlfriend after a long, stormy road trip. We are not fussy people and would have been happy with a fairly clean, safe room. We received neither. We walk in to our room after a long road trip and see that half of the window is missing and there were no curtains. They had attempted to cover the window with a piece of cardboard and some tape. "This lodging is well located, and the staff is very friendly. However, inside the Manor, there is a strong smell of heating oil. There is probably a tank leak. The room was spacious but outdated.
