"First visit and the team looked after me brilliantly despite having a large xmas party to cater for that evening. Room was comfortable and quiet despite the main road location"

"The room was a good size and spotless, however, the walls are very thin and I was kept awake until 2am by two men talking moderately loudly in the room behind my room. Furthermore, the mattress Ned’s changing as it has two long depressions where occupants lay and a high ridge running the length of the bed. The tv was claimed to be ‘smart’ but was really dump, it struggled to get BBC1 and no streaming services were available. Very disappointing."

"The Pavillion was a great little hotel. Incredibly clean, small room but perfect for a nights stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A nice open fire in the lobby was a lovely touch also! Will definitely be returning next year. "

"The room was super clean and welcoming. Very nice honesty bar with some well needed snacks. Lovely guest toiletries in bathroom and everything you would need to have a pleasant & welcoming stay. The breakfast staff were particularly helpful and kind. I will be back when next in the area. "

"Lovely room with comfortable bed. Very friendly and professional staff. Could do with hot plates for hot breakfast and disappointing coffee but otherwise super breakfast with cold and hot buffet. Book a bed and breakfast room if you will require breakfast. Restaurant food prices expensive. "

"Apart from reception, this pub is staffed entirely by untrained junior staff that want to leave you in no doubt that they don't want to be there. Room was not very clean, breakfast a poor show, and the decor beyond tired. Would have given it three stars though just simply because my evening meal was pleasant and the place is fantastic value for money - until I made the mistake of using the property's electric car chargers - DO NOT USE THEM! £25 for two hours and my charge rose 3%. "I was absolutely over the moon with this hotel. Don't listen to the negative reviews. It was an absolute delight. Anil and the Nepalese manager (didn't catch the name) were so pleasant and they were friendly, helpful and great at their job! And the cleaner with the red hair was top notch! I had a quadruple room for 3 people for 2 nights and it was HUGE. It was one of the biggest rooms I've stayed in. I was so impressed that the ironing board, iron, hairdryer, extra blankets and extra pillows...

"Breakfast was lovely, Room was great , staff excellent, we had 3 Harley Davidson motorcycle, the parking was very safe 👍. Overall a great couple of days , loved everything about this hotel , the staff go out of there way to help if needed . Will definitely recommend, and will definitely be back one day ,thank you ."
