"I have travelled with my family around the world and this would have to be our favorite Hotel so far. It doesn’t feel like a hotel, but rather an upscale serviced apartment. "Room was clean, fairly large, and having washing machine in the room was a blessing. Location seemed initially to be a bit remote - but in fact it was smack in the middle of everything we wanted to visit and easy walk to Sanjo (restaurants galore!). Definitely recommend Stay Sakura."

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."
