"This was our first time staying at sleepy bear. It was perfect for what we needed, and so much more affordable than other places to stay in Gatlinburg. The bed was comfy and the room was clean, looked like the carpet was brand new. The AC fans run all night which is really nice, not cutting on and off so it wakes you up. Also you can hear the creek behind the hotel which is very soothing. The most amazing thing is that they cook you a fresh hot breakfast if you start on the weekend, and the breakfast chef is the nicest guy. It's a great way to start the day."

"Lovely and quaint Inn...100% worth a little rustic ambiance! You have a balcony overlooking the river, the sound of the river and the bear wandering around makes this a new favorite in East Tennessee. The bed was extremely comfortable, mini fridge, microwave, TV, coffee maker, and hair dryer provided. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful, the owner needs to give that man a raise! Go for the river and bear 🐻....trust me!"

"Super cute RV park! We stayed in one of the tiny homes and it was very nice. The property grounds were very well kept. Even though we had our own bathroom I checked out the bathhouse just to see what it was like and it was very nice as well. There was a pool and a playground and a very nice common area with fire pits for families to gather. There was a fire pit and a picnic table outside our tiny house but no chairs. We bought some cheap camp chairs to sit by the fire. Highly recommend!"

"The room was clean but very small. The balcony was amazing overlooking the water. I kept asking the name of the waterway and no one could tell me. The breakfast was good but we had a hard time getting there on time, before 9:30am so only partook 1 out of 3 days. Staff could not help with any info about area attractions or directions. They all may have been new to the area or didn't speak good English. I usually rely on hotel staff to help us with recommendations or directions. Many areas of the hotel were poorly or not air conditioned, like the elevator. Lobby was tiny. Otherwise the stay was good."
