"Friendly staff, clean room and daily housekeeping. Comfortable bed. Air con. I would have liked a kettle but that’s a personal preference and not a big issue.
The hotel was very central. It was walking distance to the Rockefeller Centre, Grand Central Station, 5th Avenue, Broadway, Empire State Building, Bryant Park and Central Park. "

"The bathroom was sparkling, and well supplied. The AC was confusing, couldn’t get the temperature right, it was often stuffy. The breakfast menu was loaded with carbs, and only one choice of breakfast meat. There was remodeling going on which made the lobby very congested. I had an issue trying to purchase a soda and chips, it didn’t accept cash, and wouldn’t allow me to charge it to my room. I would stay at this location again, after the construction is completed."

"was really looking forward to this stay, but unfortunately it fell short in several ways. There was active construction happening during my visit, and the lobby was in complete disarray, with noticeable dust in that area.
When I first checked in, I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet, which was frustrating. That said, the staff was kind and handled the situation quickly, which I appreciated. However, even after switching rooms, the cleanliness still wasn’t quite up to standard.

"The set up of the room had interior windows that werent sounproofed and opened into a hallway. So limited natural light umless the room was exposed. This made it noisy in the night. I was awakened three times by peolle opening doors or talking loudly. The property has the audacity to ask for a fee for late check out in spite of this.

"The staff was very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately many of the issues we experienced were beyond their control.
On the first night, we were given a room on the first floor, right next to the lobby and breakfast area. It was surprising that a room is located directly by the main entrance—we could hear everything, which made it very noisy and uncomfortable.
