"We really enjoyed our stay at the Amway Grand Plaza overall. The location is fantastic, and having so many excellent restaurants and bars right inside the hotel is a huge plus. We had dinner at Wolfgang Puck and MDRD during our stay, and both were absolutely amazing. MDRD in particular made for a memorable evening and was one of the highlights of our weekend. "When we arrived to check in after a day at the beach, we were told there was no water as a pipe had recently burst. No shower, no bathroom to use. The maintenance guy was working on it, but unable to fix it. I know something like this can happen, but I think it could have been managed better. Credit to the maintenance guy - later he talked with guests and assured us a plumber was on their way and that it should be fixed by the end of the evening, which it was.
