"Considering this is a bed and breakfast establishment, it is excellent. We stayed in a twin room and the beds were very comfortable, with good quality bedding. Good shower, with rain head and normal head, towels were plentiful and soft. All very clean. We did not have breakfast, but the room looked well appointed. Large lounge and reception areas, with a billiard table in one room. All the staff were lovely."

"The rooms are not in the main building, they are what I can only describe as motel type rooms in a couple of blocks. We had a 1st floor room the window only opened an inch and there was no A/C, didn't get a lot of sleep at the weather therefore the room was baking hot. Lovely grounds to walk round and the breakfast was good in a really nice setting."

"Beautiful room and en-suite in a lodge with four others, tucked away at the back of the garden. Very comfortable. Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy."

We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. "Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We didn’t use the spa due to only staying one night and the extra charge as booked through Expedia but if book direct, it’s included. Breakfast was £16.95 and worth it. Great choice. Lovely outdoor seating area. Beds comfy. Bathrooms good. Quiet location. All was good."

"While this facility had a lot of high level amenities like and Elemis spa, squash court etc, they fall far short of acceptable in basic room accommodations. We specifically made sure the hotel had Air conditioning before booking and when we arrived confirmed again because the lobby was so hot. Even so, they checked us into a room they KNEW the air conditioning wasn’t working (they had put a fan in the room). "The room had everything you need but wasn’t clean and they don’t clean during your stay either. You can get new towels from reception, but no one is coming to get your previous wet/used ones. Reception desk is impressive and the 2 girls were smiley and attentive. Bathroom was ok but looking very tired. Shower was good and powerful. Parking is easy and the golf course looks good. For the price it wasn’t great value. We might stay again if we can’t find anything better, for the next Goodwood...

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."
