"The property is timber framed and old, really old. Cleanliness and condition is very good but this building needs constant maintenance. We loved it, it’s very old and full of history. Very cute little town, very nice surroundings. We hit it in the middle of a heat wave and there is no AC, in fact there’s likely no AC in most of the village but the normal temperature does not require it. We were just unlucky. "Horrendous. Oven was so dirty it couldn't be used. Room has one mug, one towel, one pillow - two of us staying. Dirty sponges left at the sink, clearly used multiple times. Bed was horrific, worst mattress I've ever slept on, very old, bed falling apart, not even a full size double. Husband and I are very average in size I had to try and sleep either end of the bed - didn't help due to the noise of other residents all night. Fridge not cleaned, food still in there from last person.Young men...

"On going work in the property. There was no water in the property so use for anything. Staff were terrible, I have to call to get my access code and they end up giving wrong access codeI booked room 1 they put me in room 4. I called to find out why and they responded by text message and then closed work for the day."

"There is no guest house, it's a scam, fraud, fake. I want my money back! They accept booking, you get confirmation and you don't get room, they don't answer your call. Need to report it to every possible site!"

"ALERTA FRAUDE. Edificio abandonado sin mantenimiento y sin personal, algunas habitaciones ocupadas por personas sin hogar y siguen vendiéndolas. Insalubre, cocina llena de basura, camas sucias. Mal olor y insectos. Por los alrededores del exterior había ratas enormes como ardillas. ES UNA ESTAFA."

"Boiler not working hence no heating or hot water, could not have a shower and had to buy a bowl just to wash. Squatters sleeping on the sofas in the living room every night. Worst accomodation I have ever been in."

"Do not stay. No staff in property. Got passcode for a room that's different from my booking. Property was dirty and the room had someone else living there. I met people that rent one of the room for months (which was the room I was booked for), and told me the other room (that I got passcode for) also has a person living there for months. I had to find a different place to sleep urgently, and I'm trying to get refund."

"It was terrifying! I booked one of my accomplished musicians to stay after our long late evening rehearsal. When we enter the room (no staff available of course ro even speak to), we found the room had bed laid already by strangers! Later, 3 drunk guys returned to my reservation room 9, sleeping on the bed and one drunk man was on the floor!"

"Very Hot! No AC. Did not feel safe, there were people walking around through the hallways and smoking out side, which their smoke came into our room through the one and only tiny window which offered limited ventilation"

"room was double booked but they gave us another room, took about 20 mins. We were locked out when we came back later/ no front door key. This took about 15 mins. Run on a shoe string but very cheap. You pay your money and this is what you get. Staff very friendly and nice but the systems dont work at all there, need better organisation and a front door key. Also rooms need a spruce up!"

"Lovely grounds and dining area. Corridors in our accommodation block were somewhat shabby and in need of updating. Paint was peeling on the bathroom door. Double bed was standard rather than king. Room amenities were fine, suited our needs. Breakfast was more than adequate although there was a delay in replacing some hot food. Very convenient location."

"Not what it seems. Had a room with a small kitchen , dirty bowls and plates left in oven which had been there for some time going by the smell. Had a "private bathroom" which was shared by the room next door. Had one night here and bailed out. Had booked to come back three weeks later but soon cancelled that."
