"Half of the hotel is in a separate building so it feels more like a motel. If you get one of those rooms it can be a little loud The ac unit in our room emitted a funny smell so we could not use it. The shower curtain bar was bet so we could not close the curtain all the way. When we closed the curtain, the ends would sag towards the middle of the bar. "Lovely hotel with a fantastic location!"

"Very clean hotel with attentive staff in a perfect location. Kimberly, at the front desk, was very helpful though she could use the help of a concierge. Not an easy task to wear both hats but she balanced both. Izzy was lots of fun at the bar. I had a small issue and Kristen and the rest of the staff more than made up for it. My only negative is that the shade in my room really needed replacing as it was held together with large safety pins, and kind of an eyesore. Would definitely return."

"Had a fantastic girls weekend in Charleston, and the hotel was key in that. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is luxurious. The restaurant was totally happening, and it had great drink options. Ee never heard the neighbors. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase a girls getaway package that included a bottle of bubbles, a charcuterie board, in room massages, and gift certificates to local businesses. "

"Beautiful luxury hotel in the perfect location. Wakabity score10+! The staff were extremely welcoming and gracious throughout our stay mirroring the Southern hospitality of the propery. Would have loved to have more variety for breakfast entree options. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful city. We will be back to Planters Inn on our next trip to Charleston"

"The restaurant had a great atmosphere and delicious bread. The hotel was nice but the rooms are very, very dark. I would love additional lighting. The bathroom and shower area had some big cracks and could use some love. It was so nice that they had water and bubble water available to guests. The location is fantastic and the lobby is a dream! "We paid about 600.00 per night for the "city view" and our view was the back of the property, complete with 5 open dumpsters and a parking garage. Otherwise, the stay was really nice and the location is great."
