"Amazing pet friendly Boutique Hotel. Cool architecture with nice spots to relax in the library, coffee shop with an outside secluded seating area. Rooms are large and very clean. In the full size fridge there was water and other basic sodas and complimentary cheese and crackers. There was a good selection of wine, liquor, chips, cookies etc to purchase. The free 5 o'clock wine and cheese in the library was a nice touch! The front desk staff and valet were very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Restoration Hotel."

"I almost don’t want to share this hidden gem. Even though this hotel is small, it has everything you need for a great stay at affordable price. Our room was clean and spacious. Our shower broke and they immediately replaced a new shower head. Beautiful courtyard where my husband watched a game while we sat having drinks by the fireplace and listening to a live steel drum singer. The staff was polite and location couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be staying again. The only con is the small size of the pool which felt like bath water. Otherwise, we had a perfect stay at the Ryder Hotel."

"The hotel is in need of some uplifts - the paint is chipped in the rooms, the carpet is shabby, there were some marks on the wall behind the toilet, etc. The breakfast was great - the evening receptions was great, the staff we met were great but the property is a bit off. "

"Breakfast was very good. Buffet or menu. Had dinner one night at Swamp Fox and it was excellent. Room was good. "

"Clean room. Even with road pretty close by, noise was minimum. Nice helpful staff. Updates were being done during our stay but were not disruptive. Outside areas could have been bit cleaner, planters were in process of being updated. Pool area and deck area were enjoyable. Wish there’d been more variety on breakfast menu- or try and offer continental breakfast. As it was a bistro- not a restaurant- evening food was ok. Enjoyed hamburger and club sandwich. Was disappointed in ‘partial view’ room. Tree right in front (roads seen easily). and side view was basically part of next balcony and a tiny bit of marina."

"Great place. I have only two comments 1. The fitness room while well equipped is really too small. With only one elliptical and two treadmills getting an available piece of equipment is a bit of a struggle. 2. I realize down town is expensive but the price of overnight parking is a bit excessive"
