Great Hotel, will stay again!!

"Fantastic two-night stay at Apex Bath! The hotel was stylish, spotless, and perfectly located for exploring the city. Staff were friendly and were extremely helpful when needed. The room was cozy with great amenities, and we loved the little touches (like the comfy bed and quiet atmosphere). And working Air-Con! Would 100% stay again—thanks for a lovely weekend! Park in Charlotte street carpark and took over to hotel or 6 min walk. Pool, sauna and steam room were great! Breakfast was delicious and worth the money! Nothing bad to say at all."

Beautiful Spa Hotel, Centrally Located in Bath

"The Gainsborough has a beautiful spa area and is very centrally and conveniently located in downtown Bath. The hotel stocks all rooms with soft drinks and water in the mini fridge (a nice touch), and the breakfast offerings are excellent, including both a continental buffet with a cooked to order option. The bar area of the hotel is small and was not well stocked during our visit. Also, some of the staff seemed new and unfamiliar (although polite) with the property, but the concierge as well as the front desk manager, Howard, were wonderful, and made what was a good stay into a great stay. The concierge's restaurant and tour recommendations were wonderful, and the front desk manager assisted our party of four with an issue we encountered with a rude and arrogant guest. The professionalism he demonstrated in handling the situation was commendable. We will be back. "

"We really enjoyed our stay ! The hotel is well managed and was spotless. Breakfast was brilliant too. My only disappointment was the tea, coffee and milk wasn’t replenished for the second night. I forgot to ask at reception before heading to our room and I’m sure they’d of supplied it had I asked. Overall a lovely hotel, would recommend ! "

"Such a cute building in the heart of Bath, a quick walk to so many attractions such as the Roman Bath itself, coach station, and parks. Breakfast was so delicious and the staff were the friendliest people. The room itself was very cute and simple with an updated bathroom but it had little airflow and after 50 steps to the top floor in the middle of summer, it became very stuffy. The fan that was included in the room helped but our shower only seemed to give out hot water and was very confusing to use. I would absolutely love to stay again, probably not during the warmer months or at least try for a room on one of the other floors, but I did enjoy the stay here. And again, the food was SO GOOD!"
