"Absolutely lovely stay as a solo traveller. Has all the charm and feel of Bath I was so surprised when I turned the corner and saw the street of gorgeous Georgian townhomes I would be staying on. Location was perfect - walkable to everything and super convenient to be able to come back before dinner and not lose any time. My room had a stunning view of the town on the top floor."

"The place was great but we just happened to go during a historical heat wave and there was no AC ! The staff were super helpful and gave us a Dyson fan but the heat was unbearable at times . The place is nice and very close to all attractions. The room was cozy and comfortable . We would have eaten there but instead looked for dining places that had AC so we could cool off !"

"Hotel is located in the center of Bath and 12 minutes walk to Roman Bath. Walking to Jane Austen Center, circus or Royal Cresent all within 15 minutes. Room is well sized and tastefully decorated and sparkly clean. Have to mention that the bathroom was beautifully designed. Amenities provided was great, like kettle, coffee press machine, safe, etc. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Although it is in central area but night time the street was very quiet. "We just loved this place. This hotel is within walking distance from the train station. They do offer complimentary luggage pickup, but it was not available when we arrived because we requested it too late. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a vintage radio, and vintage record player and standing tub. They offer complimentary cookies, drinks and ice cream. The staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant. We had a great time."

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Francis Hotel. It was five years since we last stayed there and the difference made by their extensive renovations is amazing! Beautiful rooms, even the small ‘cosy’ rooms, with thoughtful and artistic decoration and amenities. We stayed in the really hot weather and the great AC was very welcome! It’s in a fantastic location and we will definitely return."

"Bath Priory is situated on beautiful grounds and gardens, loved the greenery and flowers. Our suite was very nice, two large rooms and a full bathroom. On arrival our room was not ready and we were brought to the bar for a complementary drink. We waited 45 minutes for a bar/restaurant member to even acknowledge us although the walked by us almost every minute. Not even a greeting. This level of service was common for the restaurant. At breakfast one day my wife’s meal was served 20 minutes...
