The host was very amenable. The property was very clean, breakfast had a great choice of continental options and it was nice and warm for our 2 day stay.
Parking was at the rear.
4-poster bed in a grand Georgian pile. Close to town (~1km walk along a picturesque tow path). Great continental buffet breakfast and a wonderful host.
Loved the beautiful home. Fantastic atmosphere, unbelievable host. Intriguing history. Beautiful dining room and nice breakfast. Would recommend to all.
Wonderful stay at Grosvenor Villa, the host Richard was a lovely host who gave us some very helpful tips on Bath. Elegant room with tea, biscuits and free red wine. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We can really recommend staying at Grosvenor Villa, for a most memorable stay.
Amazing stay at the villa, close walking distance to Bath, full of character, a lovely host. Would recommend to anyone in the area! Comfy beds and a property full oh history!
We loved this place and the delightful host, Richard. A beautiful 600 year old mansion with comfortable and well appointed facilities, a lovely breakfast and location that was an easy walk to the Roman baths and many wonderful eateries and shops in Bath! Would stay here again!
We stayed at Grosvenor Villa for two nights during our visit to Bath and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was very comfortable, and Richard proved to be an excellent host—warm, welcoming, and full of helpful suggestions about places to visit. The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious.
The villa itself carries a fascinating history, brought to life through Richard’s intriguing stories, making it a destination worth visiting in its own right. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Grosvenor Villa.
We had such a lovely stay! The room was beautiful, warm and comfortable. The bathroom was very luxurous and the breakfast in the morning was delicious with fresh fuit and a beautiful homemade compot. We will definitely stay again!
This was a lovely experience with a wonderful taste of England. The breakfast that was included was wonderful. A beautiful array of fruit, danish, yogurt and other wonderful options. Well run by a friendly and interesting gentleman.
Pristine rooms , a warm reception and a breakfast room that takes you 200 years back in time. 100% recommended . You’re missing out if you’re in Bath and not staying here!

Lovely weekend getaway
Lovely old building, exactly as described. Really friendly knowledgeable host. 20 minute scenic walk to town and frequent busses right outside the building.
I would happily stay again and recommend. Nothing to grumble about.
The Grosvenor Villa is an amazing building with a lovely garden. The Pride and Prejudice room was great, spacious, clean and we loved the extra touches (wine, bath robes). The riverside walk to the centre took about 20 minutes and through Sydney gardens.
Breakfast room was unique and the continental breakfast was delicious. The owner Richard was very helpful and friendly and told us lots of interesting facts about the area and the house.
Beautifully remodeled Georgian villa. Excellent breakfast. Host was very friendly and helpful. Made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend this place.
Our room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. The home was beautiful and our host was more than welcoming. Breakfast served in the dining room was delicious. Don’t miss out on staying in this wonderful home!
Richard was a wonderful host from beginning to departure. The room was a splendid travel back in history yet all the touches needed for a modern trip away. Thank you Richard for allowing us to share your wonderful home .
Simply the best stay we had in our 90days in the UK. Beautiful place, great service by our gracious host. I would definitely grab this one if you get a chance.
A beautiful and impressive house with a friendly and welcoming host who had lots of interesting stories! We appreciated the complementary wine, continental breakfast and much needed umbrella! Our room was beautiful with a super comfy bed - highly recommend.
This is a very unique home, that hosts their guests exceptionally well. There is a lot of stairs, but the breakfast is generous. With a lot of fresh variety.
This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The owner was gracious and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the beautiful dining room just made the whole thing magical. It wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an experience. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Bath. *The only note I would say is not suitable for anyone who can’t walk a lot of stairs*
