"the checkin was super easy and smooth.. front desk clerk came and opened the door upon arrival, big smile on his face and from then on i had a new friend in Makassar.. any questions i just asked him and not only did he answer them but would tell me better way or place than what i was thinking.. the food in the restaurant as well as the service was perfect.Coto Makassar huge sreving and just ENAK.. "The staff were very nice and helpful & the breakfast buffet was good/extensive, but the rooms are dated and we’re not cleaned well. The dirty looking bath mats pictured here says it all. Overall a bit pricey for what you get. "

"Overall it is an old hotel but quite clean except the towels which need a lot of javex. They were all dark and old. Other hotels would have replaced them long time ago."

"There were two things that made my stay unenjoyable. First, I was there 1 week and only had one hot shower. I believe after a few people use the hot water you can not get it, as the one hor shower I had cane at three in the afternoon. Second, the towels and sheets need to be replaced. It is not a big deal for me that the sheets consistently had stains on them, but the towel iften had dirt marks on them, like they were being used in a auto garage.
