"I had a short stay and I loved the location, the pool, the marina view and the room balcony. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. Minor suggestion: the carpet by the elevator or room hall was stained. I am sure it can be taken care of. Looking forward to staying at your pace soon!"

"Overall, we really enjoyed The Kinney. The location is convenient and easy to navigate, and we walked to the Venice Beach boardwalk, which is always a treat. The pool is small, but my teenagers enjoyed swimming, and the hot tub was a lovely place to unwind. The outdoor lounge, with comfortable seating and a fireplace, was perfect for relaxing after a busy day and enjoying the LA weather. The main downside was that our room had no working air conditioning for the first two nights. Getting help was frustrating, especially because one front desk employee was quite rude. When I requested extra pillows, she initially suggested that we share the four already on the bed among all four guests before eventually agreeing to provide more. It was a simple request, and the resistance felt unnecessary. One practical note: we were required to put down a $50 deposit for each night of our stay, so budget for that additional amount at check-in. I had not seen it clearly disclosed beforehand. The deposit is refundable, less any charges made to your room. The location and amenities made this an enjoyable stay, but more attentive and welcoming service would have made a real difference."

"We stayed in a two queen with pull out couch, it was perfect for my family of 4. Breakfast (pancakes, fruit, eggs, sausage, coffee) was such a nice perk! Beds were comfortable, room was clean. My only complaints were our very small bathroom with no working fan, and the laundry room only took quarters. Great central location for traveling."

"Very affordable and conveniently located, but I was surprised to find out that the bathroom was part of the common area. There are also about 16 stairs to get into the property. At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay there, but once I opened the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, and so was the common area. In the end, I decided to stay, mainly because of the low price compared to the surrounding hotels. ✨✨✨✨"
