I have to say that the room in this hotel was nothing like the photos they have shown, I’m not sure which hotel that was but it wasn’t ours. The room did not feel clean, the sink was blocked and we booked the room for 2 people and were left 1 cup for coffee. The location of the hotel was good, only about 5 minutes walk away from the station which, unfortunately, we were only too happy to make on our last day.

Good location, and the hotel smells amazing, but the room wasn't properly cleaned and the decor needs an update. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Staff were really nice, but the place itself was dirty, dirty towels and the bathroom floor had dirt noticeably. You literally get what you pay for, the train station is 4 min away from the hotel so that’s a plus

Visit to the Eventim Apollo

This was a really handy stay for the Apollo within walking distance. I wanted to cook and so booked the triple room with kitchenette. Cooking utensils were in short supply and no glasses but it was sufficient for me to knock up a stir fry and the fridge stored everything for my breakfast and was warm cosy and quiet. Bonus early check in so would definitely stay again. Staff were friendly..

This apartment was a little run down with wobbly and hence leaky taps. The kitchen was supplied with minimal equipment. But it had a great shower and good bed. Also an opening window. It’s in a really good position within walking distance of trains, shops and pubs.

I was given a choice to take the basement room, so not to take the steps up. The idea was good, but it had constant door shuting and walking in and out, and loud talking so it was really disturbing especially at night time.

Average stay, in need of a re do in hotel

Average stay, hotel room was ok to lay your head down in a good location. Property old and run down, in need to a re do. Wi dow seal's broken, holes and dents in places and a sink that wouldn't drain correctly. Hotel contacted us to say we were unable to have you stay due work within the hotel and offered us a new location but we were unable to this offer due to location. Informed the hotel of this and never received any further communication on it, messaged and rang a few times but was ignored. Thankful hotels.com rang and spoke to hotel and sported it out. There was no work being done around or in the hotel at the time we stayed there, so not sure why they told us we couldnt stay but then changed their mind

The room had been renovated quite poorly. The faucet was loosly in place and there was a lot of moisture damage in the room and especially in the bathroom. Location was good.

The location is excellent and within walking minutes from bus and tube. The room was clean, espacious and quiet. Unfortunately the room had some maintenence issues: the TV wasn't working and the toilet roll holder / brush were broken , small chest of drawer was broken. There was coffee and kettle but milk was missing and the mattress of the extra single bed was hollow and not very comfortable at all. But overall I'd say for the price , the stay is great for a couple of nights

The room/studio it’s not like in the pictures, furniture are old and doesn’t feel very clean. However I didn’t use the kitchen. Despite this, there is a very good space in the room and the location is great. Overall, for the price I paid I would go back for a night or two in London

Really wanted to like it

The idea is excellent - reasonably sized self catering studio. The photos are great. The outdoor space is lovely. Unfortunately it's worn and damaged to the point you'd barely recognise it Vs the photos and while the staff are lovely, with that and the fire doors propped open and stair carpet loose I can't recommend it unless there's no other choice. Bed was good, towels were clean but the overall comfort let down by wearing, dirt and no blind to go over the bathroom window. Bathroom window is lightly frosted but not enough to take a shower with the light on in the evening comfortably. With a deep clean, some paint and maintenance and a bit of a refresh it'd be great.

Nasty...

The only thing that is good about this "hotel" is the location. No real reception. The room had a weird smell. The toilet brush had poop stains all over and smelled horrible. Kitchen was dirty, floor was dirty, bedding had stains, stains and dust everywhere (utensils, curtains, bed etc). Many things were broken (and no one seemed to care to fix them). Only one chair for the table etc. When we had a twin room. Wallpaper was falling of the wall. The housekeeping seemed to be a lady living in one of the rooms next to ours, with a couple of kids (that screamed from early morning until late night).
