The room was lovely — small, but nicely decorated. It had a clean, almost clinical feel to it. The building itself is beautiful, and Kensington is a charming area to stay in.
However, the location isn’t the most convenient. There’s no Underground station nearby, so you’ll likely end up walking quite a bit or relying on Uber to get around.
The bed was comfortable but very small — if you’re sharing with a tall or larger partner, a standard double might feel too tight. Unfortunately, the sink was also blocked during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient.
The carpet in the hallway could definitely use some TLC, as it’s starting to look a little worn.
That said, I still had a pleasant stay overall. Thank you to the team for the hospitality!
