"I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. "We had a lovely stay here, the property is close to restaurants, pubs and shops. Unfortunately, we noticed damp patches in the kitchen and the living room and a bit of mold in the bathroom around the bath. The rooms are spacious, however, the extremely steep steps from the top floor to the first floor had to be cautiously approached in the dark during bathroom visits. The games were great additions and they created joy, fun and social interactions. We had no problem with finding free parking...

"Great location and view. Major damp and mould in property, bedroom smell was so strong it was quite frankly foul. Thank good we only booked for two nights. No back ground or mechancial ventilation, not sure who did last refurbishment but fundamentally design failure. Mould on tiles, window reveals in bathroom.
