Nice appartment but.....

Very nice appartment in central location. Clean an spacious. Unfortunately i had to ask for the entry codes because theyvwere not emailed and the lift stopped working which is not pleasant if the appartment is on the 4th floor

Helpful staff they let us leave our luggages before check in. Love the virtual check in very easy. Very quiet where apartment is located and a short walk is where all restaurants are and very nice viewpoint area. definitely would stay again. Love the place

Everything was really perfect! The only small things with potential of improvement is: the “double” bed could be larger (hard to sleep in two), it would be great if there were some bowls in the kitchen. All the rest perfect: very clean, great location, separation between sleeping and living area, kitchen with oven, stove, fridge and everything you need. We really felt like home and we were very happy with our choice.

We had a great stay. It is in a perfect location if you don’t mind doing a bit of walking. Check in was a bit confusing as we didn’t receive check in details prior to arrival but the apartment was tiny enough for a daily of 4. The balcony was large and we were able to view some of the impressive New Year’s Eve fireworks while overlooking the city.

The apartment location is good. It’s close to tons of restaurants. It’s a slight uphill but uber and cars can still access the street. Super close to the funicular and Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara.

The inside of the house and the closets smelled of damp. I don't know if it's specific to Expedia, but we had to stay on the -2nd floor. Although it was a house with a kitchen, there were no pots or pans for cooking. The best part of the accommodation was that it was in a good location.

We.stayed for 3 nights and we liked everything about tjs facilities. Our only dislime was that the elevator was not working . But it was clean and had plenty of room.for the 4 of us. Inrecomend it .

This property was really great. Large, good beds and A/C, nice balcony and view of the city. Excellent location. Only downside was the stress of not receiving checkin instructions 48 hours in advance as promised. It took many phone calls to Expedia, who were clueless, and then finally getting hold of the property owner (no response from messaging, had to call using Teams for it to work from Canada), who was able to explain it. They blamed Expedia, Expedia blamed them. Sort it out Expedia!!!! FYI - they have other Serviced Apartments to store bags but you have to call them to find this out.

Difficult check-in

The apartments itself is very comfortable and placed really good with a nice view of Lisbon. The check-in was horrible though, they never sent the correct check-in code by e-mail, luckily some very helpful cleaning people was present and helped with contact to the company. We got the check-in code and used it on the check-monitor in the hall, there you could get the door code sent to your e-mail but this never arrived either, luckily we had taken pictures of the check-in monitor...!

The flat is amazing and has a privileged location. The only thing it was a bit slow was the Virtual reception. My hotels.com reservation number wasn't working, the screen went blank, we have to wait for about 30 minutes because people is not used to it and take long time to register all the guests, one by one. Also we run out of toilet roll, and obviously was nobody physically who we can ask... Taking this out, the accomodation is very good

Hot water runs out

Hot water ran out in 15 minutes shower, twice in 5 nights. There were 3 of us, shower time 5-10 minutes each, the last to have the shower had basically no hot water, boiler meter went from around 70 degree to 20 degree in a matter of minutes and stayed that way for hours. Probably fine in hot summer but for January, it’s an execution. Our toothpaste got thrown away but we only found out when we were about to to go bed so we had to brush our teeth with water. Our pyjamas also got mixed in our pile of outside clothes which is disgusting. Otherwise, location and view are good, that’s all.

We stayed in the two beds room - located at ground level/basement. It was noisy and you can hear noise from other rooms. The shower leaked water onto the floor - bathroom floor was wet slippery. Despite, the location being fantastic - very central, the checkin process was very frustrating and mostly led to this bad review. Hotels.com indicated that we would be receiving a code to enter the property (which never happened). To enter the building, you must be lucky that another hotel guest is leaving or coming in to let you in. There is also a buzzer (no instructions in the email) on how to use. Once you are let in, you checkin with the kiosk (inside building) you get the code to the building and your room- you MUST take a picture as this is NEVER emailed to you. For further assistance, I chatted with a virtual agent from hotels.com but they only provided a phone number for the hotel. However, this number is not registered with WhatsApp- so N.A. travelers are not able to call them for help. Very frustrating. We just travelled for two weeks in Portugal and this was by far the worst checkin process and room

We had the top floor of this apartment for close to a week. Here's the good and the bad. Bad: Check in is horrible. There's absolutely no communication about how to go about it. There's no email response to query. I only found the self check in on there website by chance (again no instruction). The Web self check in is horrible as well. They never emailed me the access codes. Now getting to the property we were stuck outside without a code. Finally buzzed the property and they let us in through the front door where there's a machine for check-in inside the building. There's no person to talk to or ask questions. We were finally able to get in the building. Party. The rule says no partying but our next door neighbor was clearly having a big party with drunken noises late into the night. Again, because there's no concierge or any one on site we couldn't report it. Thankfully it was only one night. Bathroom. Poor design and water drains very slowly at the bath. Leaves a big puddle of water after showering. Not deal breaker. Good: The balcony and view from the unit is amazing! It's practically a miradouro at your unit! We enjoyed the view, especially at sunset, very much. Location is amazing. It's right next to the cable car and the miradouro. Very walkable location. They cleaned our unit everyday. Safe location. There's also a mini safe in the unit.

Barcelona Week

The apartment was very nice, clean with all the necessities. My issue was the lack of communication on how to access the apartment. The website indicates that I would receive information on accessing the apartment about 48 hours before our reservation arrival date. I did not receive any information. I eventually had to call and spoke to some who told me that they don’t follow that process any longer. When I arrived I needed to ring a buzzer and I would be let in. I needed to store luggage and was given the address of a different apartment building where they had storage. Once again ring the buzzer and I would be let in. When I arrived I couldn’t determine what button was the buzzer. I did not have a door code so I could not get in. I was let in by someone else staying in the building and once again had to call the contact number. This person finally provided me with a door code for the apartment building I would be staying at. She informed me that inside the entry was a self checkin kiosk that would provide the apartment entry code. I stored my luggage and then walked to the building where I would be staying. I completed the self checkin process and received the appropriate codes. Eventually, I moved my luggage to my place. All the codes worked. I tried to email the property management company numerous times before I arrived in Barcelona to verify that I would be provided a code before checkin. I never received a response from them. Poor communication.

The apartment was excellent for the price and located in a fantastic area. I was traveling with my husband and two daughters—while there is a sofa bed in the living room, it wasn’t the most comfortable setup. I’d recommend it mainly for two people, unless you're traveling with older kids.
