"We werent able to check in due to weather conditions causing flight cancellations. Requested for any kind of relief - partial refund or future credit for a stay. They rejected the request from me as well as Expedia who tried contacting them on behalf of us. Writing this review while staying at another great prorperty here in Lisbon."

"Lovely room, lovely breakfast and dinner and a great breakfast staff! The only minus is for Expedia for consistently messing up bookings, but that's not related to the hotel itself. "

"Perfect location looking into Rossio Square. The apartment was beautiful, modern, clean and fully equipped with a small kitchen. Our washer/dryer did not work so the staff did our laundry for us, which was so kind! Service & accommodations were perfect. The only suggestion would be to add a foam topper to the bed as the mattress was quite hard. But we slept comfortably on the couch (2 twin beds) our last 2 nights & had lovely sleep. Would recommend this building 10/10 & for sure would book...

"The property itself was great. Personal opinion... larger hot water tank. Host were available to sort out a tv issue...you're welcome. The garbage cans just outside of the door are a nuissance, and makes the area uninviting. Tram is very loud and room shaking, but awesome for travel as the stop is literally outside the door. Overall an excellent hub to plan travel around and visit the city."

"What a great stay! Lovely, spacious rooms. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The neighborhood is outside the heavily trafficked tourist area with its own vibe— a variety of good restaurants, cafes, boutiques and even a health food grocery store nearby with plenty of items to prepare easy meals in the apartment. The courtyard, which is heated in winter, is a nice bonus space. Walkable to all major neighborhoods and train or tram stations. "

"Castle Inn was a quaint, clean & charming apartment in the center of the old Castle area. We felt like we were living like a local even though it is a popular tourist destination. It is very central to everything. The owners were always quick to respond & were very helpful. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Unit was very large and clean. Has a washer and dryer and a great kitchen. Only possible issue is that no uber can go down the street. It is at the top of a slight hill, so you must be able to walk up and down a hill. Approx 3-5 minutes up the street from the Fado Museum. Tons of restaurants and markets. Walking distance to most popular places in Alfama. We hired a proper taxi from the airport and the Police wouldn’t let him drive down the street. It took a long time to get to the hotel due to...

"Check in for the apartment was at The Lisbon Wine Hotel next door. We were able to leave our luggage until we could gain access as we had arrived early. Staff at the hotel (both reception and bar staff) were really friendly and helpful and we were even offered a complimentary check-in wine/beer which was a lovely touch.
