"Gee Tatt, Muin and Osman were excellent hosts. They were welcoming, friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed interacting with the orang asli that lived in the area. Muin demonstrated to us how they used blowpipes and traps to hunt. It was a very enlightening and educational experience. "Description of the room is not accurate. Rooms are very dated and not well maintained at all. We booked a Twin room and a deluxe Triple room. The Triple room hardly had any walking space, definitely not what was shown in the pictures. Rug is dirty, no housekeeping done at all. "Our stay at Nova Hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was unclean, with a strong, unpleasant smell and visible mould on the walls and ceiling. The mould was so severe that our child developed a bad cough during our stay — It was an unhealthy and distressing environment for a family. This was truly a terrible and unprecedented experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those traveling with children or anyone with health concerns. Basic cleanliness and safety should never be compromised. Very disappointed that this was even listed on a platform like Expedia."

"I had booked two rooms but they only had one room. The fabric and furniture and furnishings were very poor. Bath towels were very old and brown with age. No coffee making facilities, television not working Windows not able to close. No controls in room for the aircondition. Only positive thing was the first receptionist was very apologetic and helpful but everything was out of her control. Certainly wouldn’t recommend any one staying there"
