"Our stay was nice at the Hard Rock Hotel. Friendly staff, great service, nice rooms. Ambience could be improved by having the music videos that they include in the Hard Rock restaurants. The Hard Rock store was a little weak as well with not much variety in the merchandise. "

"Absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to NYC, convenient to subway also located an easy walk to Battery Park and Wall St. many places to eat and shop. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel was clean and the rooms were great. Only minor complaint was waiting for the elevator."

"Breakfast was all store bought nothing was fresh at all maybe except the omelet which they don’t make daily. Nice staff and fast communication through phone messages. The hotel does get busy so taking the elevator would take up to 15 minutes. Rooms were sort of clean and cleaning service didn’t do much other than change sheets and take trash out. "

"Checking in was quick and staff at the front desk were helpful, although they couldn't tell us what the included continental breakfast included. After check in I had to walk up 17 flights o stairs to my floor because the elevator wasn't working. Stood in the lobby (that was under construction) for an unexaggerated 15 minutes waiting for the elevator. The room itself was extremely clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. "It is in a great location.The staff was friendly and room was clean. It's nice the the small bar turns into coffee bar with a good selection of food and pastries. Nice midsize lobby/ lounge to hang."

"It’s such an impressive building and location but theirs absolutely no atmosphere in it, background music boring , seating uncomfortably in lobby area and a convenience shop that is more expensive than Tiffany’s . Sliding bathroom door in my room gives it a barn conversion look . Disappointment in truth "

The room was somewhat clean- bedding and bathroom, but the wall had something smeared on it- food I hope.. also our TV did not work as it said the “internet connection was weak” so maybe a loose connection? Overall it was good for the location but we will try a different one next time for the $250/night price point. "
