"There was construction going on, and garbage from that was laying around the back entrance that we were told to use. We were assigned a room and even arrived later than we said we would, and they were still cleaning it when we got there. But there was still some hair on the bathroom floor. The bedroom was clean though. The bar had great food and service. We did not use the breakfast area. The staff was nice."

"I've stayed in this hotel twice in the last three months. Initially, I liked it. It seemed to be the Cinderella option: there are more expensive hotels around, and less expensive hotels. Generally, it seemed, you got what you paid for: this hotel wasn't quite as nice as the more expensive options, and a little beat up in places, but the room, the bedding and towels were clean and comfortable; the breakfast was good and substantial; the staff was friendly and present. So, why am I not giving this place five stars across the board? Well, like I said: I expected to get what I paid for. The hotel advertised that they had an exercise room available. That was one of the reasons I chose this hotel, and not some of the less expensive options nearby. Well, when I stayed there two months ago, I noticed that the equipment was broken. The stationary bicycle didn't work at all - it wouldn't turn on, and despite looking around for a few minutes, I couldn't figure out why (it was plugged in). The treadmill did work, but was set in French (so the speed settings were in kilometers instead of miles). I did a modified workout, and pointed these things out to the lady at the front desk when I checked out. She made a note. Two months later, I came back, and nothing was changed: not even a note on the bicycle saying "out of order." I still like the hotel, but the exercise room was the reason I chose it over another. The cleanliness was also a little less than before. I'm not sure I'll be back."

"The room set up was nice. Had a lil trouble with the mini fridge but the staff quickly took care of it. Did not receive daily maid service/ don't know why. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was good! They kept up on restocking low/out of items, so it was all fresh."

"Breakfast had good selections. As far as coffee and tea they seam to be always cold or not replenished during the course of the day. Room was clean when we got there but they only give clean towels every other day and when they did beds where not made and toilet paper wasn’t replenished. "

"The hotel is dated, but we found it clean and very comfortable. The railroad tracks were nearby, but they didn't bother us. I usually have trouble sleeping in strange beds, but I slept very well."

"This was a convenient place to stay while visiting family. It was quiet and the room was spacious. It didn’t have the same amenities as a hotel, but it felt safe and clean. We will stay there again! "
