"Beautiful property. Very central location. Lovely, romantic courtyard. We did not have a top sheet on our bed during our stay, thought I asked for one, only a duvet. But it was too warm to use a blanket or sheet anyway! Hospitable staff."

"We have stayed here several times. The rooms are becoming a little worn. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed. The sink was very slow draining. The AC was loud, the fan speed was too high, and was pointed down at me when lying in bed. I asked for an iron and ironing board, but they forgot. I had to get it myself. French Market Inn was my go-to hotel in NOLA, but I think we’ll start staying elsewhere."

"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "

"Everyone one was very helpful amd accommodating during my stay there it was pleasant and the staff where very helpful , from directikn ti getting around the bug easy to figuring out where to eat for breakfast 😊 I would personally like ti thank both Marisol and bryant for being so knowledgeable on the area and for making me feel safe at night especially because it was my first time traveling to the city alone . I had a winderful and i will definitely be coming back 😊"

"The mansion and grounds have lots of charm and character. The staff is nice as can be and very helpful. Our room (a junior suite) was quite spare and was on the second floor. The stairway is narrow and fairly steep with a low hand rail (that is all original and charming) but visitors who may have difficulty climbing stairs should ask if their room will be upstairs or downstairs.
