Anana was an incredible place to stay. Its location, slightly outside the main town, turned out to be perfect for us. The free transportation they provided made getting to the town and the boats easy and convenient. We truly enjoyed our time here—it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Definitely try and make the weekend night market in Krabi town, and take a stroll down by the river after a cold beer. Everwhere offers free WiFi, even the small shops. I have more auto connect passwords in my phone now than contacts.

Ao Nang was a great home base for all other island excursions. There is always something fun to do or see in Krabi. Great variety of good restaurants and bars, fun shopping, and enjoying the beach. A safe and happy place to be!

We stayed 1 might in Ao Nang before moving 20 minutes away by taxi to Klongmuang Beach. Ao Nang is too densely populated for tourism, noise and youngsters coming to party. Its not the idyllic Thai Island setting here.

The Tubkaak area in Krabi is the least busy and chaotic. Traffic is not too dense there. Culture is warm and welcoming. Beaches and islands are simply gorgeous.

Staying in Krabi was better than being in Bangkok. There are so many things to do. You can walk to restaurants, the night market for local foods of Thai, Indian, American, Italian, etc. Close to all the tours and the beach. Wash house nearby and 7-11
"This is a pretty nice property right on Railay Beach. So the location is great! It's definitely not the nicest resort I've ever stayed at but overall still worth it especially for the price I paid. The staff was amazing - always helpful, kind, and personable. I wish I would've used the pool area next to the beach and the restaurant because it looked nice."
