"Supposed to be pet friendly but at check in they tried to double the pet fee to $50 even though the Expedia site clearly showed $25. Front desk clerk at first was very adamant that was the fee and if I didn’t like I could leave. After I showed her the Expedia listing she finally said she would check with management. Also the floor in the room was filthy — had not been mopped (tile floor) and when I wiped up some spilled water, the paper towel was black with dirt!"

"Smelled like chemicals in the hallway and room, and shady characters walking in and around the building. Someone wrote demon on our bathroom door that looked like the staff just painted over. No breakfast or coffee. Building was very poorly maintained looked like it was falling apart. Very disappointed but i guess you get what you pay for being inexpensive."

"For business purposes, it isn’t a bad hotel by any means. They are pet friendly and it’s a quiet hotel for the most part. "

"Our stay at this hotel was not pleasant. We set the room temperature to 72 degrees in order to sleep well but it was automatically reset to 82 degrees during the night; it was so hot that we woke up and had to reset the thermostat. Meanwhile, the AC was extremely loud. The insulation was not good, as you can hear people talking in the surrounding areas during the night. The complementary breakfast didn’t offer many choices. We were the first couple of guests at the breakfast at 6:00 AM and the container for hard boiled eggs were empty. When we asked for hard boiled eggs, we were told that they ran out of them. Seriously? It appeared that they didn’t even have any in the first place. In addition, the “yogurt” tasted like flour paste. Overall, it was not a good experience and we will avoid Tru by Hilton in the future. "
