Great check in. Nicole was friendly and courteous. Our room was ready and clean. The breakfast was decent and the breakfast lady was friendly and readily available if we needed anything. The lobby area was spacious, clean and colorful with 24 hr coffee service.

The rooms were very clean and a comfortable bed. They had a decent breakfast. I love having coffee and tea also available 24/7. The only complaint was that the air conditioner was very loud. Other than that I would still stay there again.

I had a fantastic experience at this Tru by Hilton location. Mikayla at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind from the moment I arrived, such a great first impression! The morning staff also did an amazing job keeping breakfast fully stocked with hot food and a clean dining area. I really appreciated the excellent service all around. The rooms were clean, modern, and felt brand new. I slept like a baby on their updated mattresses—so comfortable. The only thing I’d change is the room layout; with the amount of open space, adding a small couch or more seating would make the room even more comfortable. Overall, highly recommend this hotel. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Great spot

We were driving from Florida to Texas and ended up stopping for the night in Pensicola. We randomly selected this hotel and I am so grateful we did. This hotel put Tru by Hilton on my radar. They had a great outdoor space with chairs and a firepit. It was really nice not to be stuck in our room. As for the room, the sheets were the softest I have slept on (away from home) and the pillows were the best of any hotel we stayed at, on this trip. It was an overall great experience and I will definitely be trying Tru again.

Room was not spacious at all. For a new hotel I expected newer sheets. The floor was not cleaned well. No charger or plug in on one side of the bed. Not impressed. Front desk lady was great. Nice greeting, friendly.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And it was nice and quiet. There were several restaurants & fastfood places nearby. But there were 2 USB’s and plugs in the TV console - neither worked. The water pressure in the shower was great, but the water did not stay hot and at one point turned ice cold. I had to turn the water off mid-shower and turn it on again to get the water to warm up again. This was not a long shower by any means. Also, I was shocked that there was only 1 USB on the end table in between 2 queen sized beds, and NO USBs or plugs at the desk.

3.5 Star Stay at Tru by Hilton We stayed at Tru by Hilton for two nights. While the property overall looked clean and well-maintained, our experience was mixed. Unfortunately, the towels we were initially given were dirty. When we requested new ones, we were told to pick them up at the front desk, which was inconvenient. Front desk staff are not hospitable. It’s like they hate their job. Sleeping was a challenge due to the pillows—they were flat like pancakes and had an unpleasant smell, likely from the feathers inside. On top of that, the persistent beeping from the smoke detector was quite annoying throughout the night. That said, the hotel offers a decent price, a good breakfast, plenty towel hooks, and clean facilities, so I would still recommend it if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option. Just be prepared to bring your own towels or ask early for replacements and maybe pack your own pillow!

Room was very clean. Jason, the main guy, was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast and coffee was great. Especially enjoyed the friendliness of Jane when the lobby wasn't busy. Don't know why, but we were closest to the highway yet did not hear traffic noise. Maybe because we were on 4th floor. The one king-size bedroom was without a closet, it wasn't needed, because the room had hooks and hangers. Actually, kind of nice, because our stuff was visible and we didn't have to worry about forgetting items. No microwave in room, but there was one in lobby. Overall exceptional stay for a fair price.
