"I am writing to formally dispute a series of unauthorized charges following my stay at the Crowne Plaza Lombard Downers Grove from March 27 to March 29, 2026. My rooms were prepaid via Expedia (Itineraries #73400939577096 and #73401902913251) for a total of $539.26. However, my bank statement currently shows four additional pending transactions from your property totaling $526.28 ($314.60, $105.84, $55.84, and $50.00). These charges were never disclosed, authorized, or explained at any point during my stay. The stress of this stay was compounded by a medical emergency. On the morning of my last day, I suffered a stroke. After my children were picked up, I utilized self-checkout to go immediately to the hospital. I had intended to book two rooms at your location on alternating weekends for the next two years, plus holiday breaks. "
