Hotels near Kettle's Yard

"We stayed on the 5th floor for two nights and unfortunately were disappointed by the noise levels throughout our stay. On both nights, there was significant noise coming from the kitchen/restaurant area above us between midnight and 1am, which sounded like tables being moved and loud knocking. The same issue happened both mornings between 6:30am and 7:30am, waking us up and making it impossible to have the relaxing mornings we had hoped for. This was especially frustrating as the noise continued for around an hour each time rather than being a brief disturbance. The restaurant staff need to be more mindful that there are guest rooms directly below. Sound proofing is not great in the hotel at all. There were also building works taking place opposite the hotel, which added further noise disruption. I would recommend checking whether these works are still ongoing before booking. The constant disturbances unfortunately affected our overall experience, and we returned home feeling tired and unrested rather than refreshed. On a positive note, the gym was well equipped with a good range of facilities. The only downside is that you have to step outside the hotel to access it, which isn’t ideal."

"My room had no electrivityy when I put card in They supposedly upgraded me to room 152 Electric on and settled in for night Slept as I was shattered At ;4 am I wen5 toilet onky ti be kept awake by air conditioning units outside Constant hum Not good and this was supposed to be upgraded room"

"Ideal place for overnight in Cambridge!!! Location could not be better: 4 min walk from Kings College. Beautiful rooms, traditionally appointed, with Nespresso machine. Amazing full breakfast, cozy bar area. Lovely swimming pool with River view. Nice and helpful reception staff. Don't look anywhere else."
