"We would not recommend this to others. We started out with a bed cover missing for one of the duvets when we arrived, batteries for the remote control to work and other things. There was one roll of toilet paper and when we wrote we needed more, the comment was inappropriate. The area was among bars and discos and very deserted. "This resort is amazing. A tranquil setting, excellent food and the best staff we have ever encountered. The location is isolated and extremely relaxing! It is the best waterfront experience that we have ever had in 53 years of traveling together. My wife came with a severe knee injury. The team took care of her every need. As a result she is now fully recovered. We will return again as often as possible. We have traveled extensively around the world and this resort is now one of our favorites. Dr William Boldt"

Silavadee Pool Spa Resort

"Silavadee is a small boutique resort when compared with many of the other high end resorts on Koh Samui. We had a 2BR villa with a pool for 2couples and enjoyed the privacy that it offered. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet and cook to order options were incredible. We also had dinner at the restaurant a couple of nights and enjoyed many wonderful Thai dishes that we can’t find at home."

"I have stayed in chaweng a a few times and this is definitely my favourite hotel. We stayed in the beachfront room, the room was a little smaller than i had hoped, but overall our stay was fantastic. The beach is clean, the bar is directly next to the beachfront rooms, they play music all day which i loved. The pool is huge and clean. The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful, happy, they made our stay amazing. The breakfast was great, lots of options for food, the lady at the egg station is always smiling and she made delicious omlettes. I really look forward to coming back."
