"Although some areas could take a lick of paint, this traditional country house hotel was just what we wanted pre our Le Shuttle journey. The staff are an absolute credit to hospitality, the food is delicious and the bed was comfy, great shower pressure and peace and quiet plus safe parking. "

"We stayed at the White Horse for 2 nights. It was a wonderful experience. We especially enjoyed the amazing staff, the delicious meals-we had breakfast twice and dinner once, and the location. We felt like we were visiting family and will definitely be going back! "

"Newly decorated room so pristine. Mattress coukd be better as a topper isn't the answer to everything especially on a soft mattress. The bath was big enough for me to gain my 25m breast stroke badge!"

"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "Excellent stayover before heading to the Shuttle. The most impressive thing isthe beautiful smell when you walk in and the cleanliness of the reception area. I think the parking charge is a bit excessive though as it is £12.50 a night. "

"We stayed at Hogwarts before a cycling event called Chase the Sun. We couldn't have been happier, Rosie welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around. We had access to a full kitchen with a full array of snacks, tea/coffee available to us 24/7.
