"The room was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. There were also no odors, which is important to us as we are allergic to pets and dislike the smell of smoke. I personally liked that the room didn’t have carpeting as it made for a cleaner floor. The motel is on a semi busy street so there is some street noise but the motel was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs for those who needed it. There are also limited parking spots that’s offered on a first come first served basis....

"There is no rain for anyone, ever, at any time, to frequent this establishment. They left us without a room and the staff not only was rude but lying. I've never had a worse experience for lodging and I've "slept" on a cross-state bus."

Our son graduated from USF this past Saturday and we’ve consistently stayed here. On our next trip to S.F., just to visit and explore more we’ll stay there again!"

"Small rooms with very limited parking. Although street parking is free on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) but finding a spot is challenge. No microwave in room. If you stay for more than 1 night they do clean rooms every day and replace all towels and do the bedding as well. Overall its a decent place to stay for the price. Pros:- Very close to golden gate, public transport is good, waterfront is close, lots of food option near by Cons:- Limited parking, No microwave, small room"

"The Grove Inn was great for a quick trip into San Francisco. Close enough to the area. Be mindful it is San Francisco and the streets are definitely full of hilss. If you can walk, everything is close enough. If you can't, Ubers are always available. The hotel itself was clean and secure with the charm of the Victorian Homes that are known for the area. Will definitely return to stay again. Thank you Azizza!"

"The room was clean and the staff were attentive. The location of the hotel was perfect. So why did I take a star off? Well, first of all the beds were not very comfortable. The beds were too soft and kinda sloped off the sides so you felt like you were going to roll off. The bathroom layout was ridiculous; there was a ton of empty unused space in the bathroom when more counter space would have been helpful. "This is a budget hotel. The room was basic but clean. Nice shower. Great location. Very steep stairs. I would stay again if on a budget as good value for money."
