They also left a teddy on my daughters bed, which was lovely.the only 2 downsides were the WiFi (room 20) wasn’t reliable, this is fine if you don’t need the internet but if you intend to use it was a bit of pain because there was no mobile signal either. I like that it is a dog friendly hotel, however we had a dog barking most of the night at the hotel."

"Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend."

"The property was immaculate. Every room was very clean and tidy. Very comfortable for 2 adults, not sure how 4 adults would feel as it might be a bit on the small side, especially if you are tall people as the ceilings are low. Parking might be a bit tricky. There is space outside for one car, although the road is narrow at that point. There seems to be space on the next road along though, or as the owner suggests in the nearby pay carpark.
