10/10 Excellent
"Loved the room and the view. Very comfortable but no heating. (Sept). Fine the first night but was cold the second night. Light breakfast was help yourself. Was ok but would have been better if they had plates for your toast and metal cutlery. All cutlery was wooden and cardboard dishes for cereal. Didn’t put us off though. Had a lovely time."

"Recommended. Will stay there again, next time I go to Ambleside. Be aware that it's a short walk (5 mins) to the centre of Ambleside, where all the shops/pubs are located. Breakfast is really good with a wide choice."

"We had a great stay. We were made to feel very welcome including our dog. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great and we were even give options when we needed something to eat a little earlier on the first morning. Will definitely stay again."

"Exactly what we needed for a couple days away. The downsides being the provided toilet paper was useless and heated towel rail didn’t seem to work. On the positive side, bed was super comfy, shower was nice and hot, great after a hike. Complimentary breakfast was very simple but also a surprise to us, better than nothing. The room as a whole was a decent size, clean and just what we were looking for"

"The hotel was very well maintained and super clean one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in the Uk, the staff went above and beyond and were very accommodating they kept our luggage as we planned a hike and the breakfast was lovely too. We hadn’t had the time to use the spa facilities or anything else. We would recommend this hotel as everything is super close and convenient. Thank you to all the staff"

"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The resort offers free allocated parking. It was a very peaceful quiet place. The staff where absolutely fantastic. I can honestly say I cannot fault this place. We had a fantastic stay as a family and I highly recommend it for anyone going to the Lake District. It is in an absolutely great Central location to all the major attractions in the Lakes."
