"As advertised, the staff is exemplary! All you need to do is ask and a member of the staff will fulfill your request quickly. We had a problem with our TV and they replaced the entire TV in about 15 minutes. The staff has a sense of pride when it comes to making sure everything works at Mauna Kea and that all of your needs are met! "Very cute and laid back old Hawaii feel. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The village of Hawi was our favorite stop on the island. Short walk from the hotel to the Main Street with shops and restaurants. We only stayed one night and have already talked about coming back and staying longer."
