"Mango Sunset was the perfect option for my one-night stay after an evening landing in Kona before driving to the Hilo side of the island the next day. The room was immaculate and comfy, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, communication with staff was easy, and coffee and breakfast were excellent. I would love to stay at Mango Sunset again for multiple days!"

"We liked that this resort was located on the coast. Sunsets were spectacular!! We liked the Lagoon (guaranteed to see marine life especially sea turtles), various swimming pools (including an adult pool), Dolphin Quest including "Sunrise with Dolphins", light breakfast (provided with our package deal) with 100% Kona Coffee from coffee shop located on the property, tram and boat for getting around, etc. What we didn't like: not enough affordable eating places on the property. "The most beautiful resort we have ever stayed in. Amenities on amenities and incredibly kind staff.They upgraded our room which was so generous and the view was to die for. So peaceful! We loved our time here as we were attending a wedding on the property. Do be warned the dining options are very expensive and there aren’t many affordable options near the property. "

"Einziger Minuspunkt: Wir waren enttäuscht, dass unser Ocean View Room vor allem einen Ausblick auf den Golfplatz ermöglichte und nur einen eingeschränkten Meerblick bot. Schade. Etwas mehr Realismus bei der Kategorisierung der Zimmer wäre hilfreich. Ansonsten sehr schönes Resort mit Möglichkeit zum Schnorcheln beim hauseigenen Riff mit Schildkröten."
