"We loved having breakfast in the cellar! Unique atmosphere and delicious food and beverages. Air conditioning was nonexistent and it was unseasonably hot in May so that one aspect needs improvement!! Otherwise, manager Jessica was super helpful! Also, Sofia in the cellar dining room, was pleasant and friendly! Charming grounds and location to nearby attractions like the Heidelberg schloss and the town can’t be beaten! Felt very safe and bed was comfy! Altogether, a great value for the price!"

"Ein Haus das seinem Ruf voll Rechnung trägt. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, das einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen abliest. Unser Komfort Zimmer war sehr geräumig und bestens ausgestattet. Allerdings war es schon ein wenig abgewohnt und könnte zwei oder drei Schönheitsreparaturen vertragen. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Auch hier wird jeder Wunsch freundlich und schnell umgesetzt. Fazit: Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder. "

"Apartment and hosts are lovely. Check-in process was simple and instructions were thorough and easy to follow. Hosts were quickly responsive to questions and requests via email. "Lovely hotel, the staff were polite and friendly, the premium room spacious (even with an extra bed in for our kid), we also appreciated the Nespresso machine with pods. I forgot my hair brush but requested one via the hotel web service and it cwas delivered to our room within 15 mins. The location is convenient just a 10 min walk from the station/Flixbus stop and about 15 mins to the start of the old town. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. "A fantastic location, a short walk from the castle and easy access to Heidelberg's attractions. The room was clean and spacious, but there was no kettle, which was disappointing, as we both enjoy tea and coffee in bed while on holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we took the opportunity of enjoying the traditionally cooked food out on the street, and breakfast was plentiful and of good quality.
