"Everything was great- very quiet location, excellent breakfast, daily housekeeping for fresh towels and sheets and helpful staff. There was a little problem with the TV not working but it was resolved the next day."

"Stayed at the Store for a long weekend in a standard room. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well located in the centre of Oxford. We took advantage of the gym and complementary sauna session due to the wet weather. Facilities are small but very well maintained. The breakfast is from a standard menu, including fried breakfasts/pancakes. I have some allergies and they were happy to adjust to accommodate. However, the allergen labelling and options could have been better, as they just removed items from the choices and the continental options were not clearly labelled. Overall a lovely visit, would come back when it is sunnier to make the most of the roof terrace."

"Upon arrival, a friendly receptionist greeted us and checked us in with no hassle. The hotel is very much a place to sleep and shower. We booked a double room, which is quite small and fits the bed with just enough space to walk around it. Storage is minimal, with under-bed storage large enough for two backpacks, and there is no wardrobe. The bathroom was clean, the AC was sufficient, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel if you simply need a quick overnight stay, as it offers good value for money."

"Three of us stayed in the twin with kitchenette. Pretty good, on the whole. The beds were comfortable, the shower easy to master. It's a little odd that there is no human being to check guests into rooms after 3pm, but the key-safe arrangement worked fine for us (luckily we had read the Arrival Instructions e-mail more carefully than we sometimes do). Our only, very minor gripe was that no receptacle was provided to heat porridge in the microwave. We had to use the rather small bowls."

"Brilliant one night stay to see a show at the New Theatre. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom with a really nice continental breakfast the next morning - the option of boiled eggs and toast was spot on. Brilliant location with plenty of weekend street parking on nearby roads and on a main bus route into city centre. We actually walked back in around 40 minutes later in the evening to stretch our legs - easy, walk. Friendly manager and lovely lady doing breakfast in the morning. Will use again next time we visit."
