"Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car. Nice view from the room and property in general. Staff and cook are very very polite. Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating)."

"This hotel was very convenient as I needed to stay the night in Mettupalaiyam after arriving by the toy train that early evening. It's a walkable 5-10 minute distance from the train station, with eat-in or take-out restaurants nearby, and a supermarket across the street. I would only recommend maybe requesting for an extra blanket (which may be at a cost), or bringing your own, as they only provided two flat sheets. "A great escape with great service. A bit out of town away from the noisy traffic, set in gorgeous surroundings. The room was very large and clean and beds were comfortable. Felt like 5 star. The bar and food options were good. Altogether a great stay where our every need was met."
