"We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again"

"The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. They were extremely welcoming and courteous, with the evening receptionist even getting me a double room when I wasn’t able to pick that room online.
Comfortable room and decent shower. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the staff were constantly cleaning and clearing tables. Couldn’t have picked a better hotel to stay for the night-thank you!"

"There was not good communication about the size of the room. This was listed as suitable for 6 people and it certainly was not. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, the adults not in pairs. But we were willing to push through for one night. The other problem was an inadequate amount of linen. We needed more towels and blankets/sheets. I called Samantha to ask about additional linen and her response was not what I expected. She asked if we were cold because the room was adequately warm and we’d be fine...

"Hotel,room,grounds & swimming pool area was very well maintained & spotlessly clean....we loved the pathway around the grounds for walking our dog & was so surprised to have so many dog litter bins provided also an outside dog bath/shower amazing .....The staff was lovely everywhere in the hotel ....a great buffet breakfast & during our stay popped in to lounge area where you had a free drinks machine which we had excellent hot chocolate from after our dog walk....hotel is set within a lovely...
