"We stayed at Hotel Ulisse after taking a ferry from Naples to the island of Ischia. Hotel Ulisse is about mid-way from the Marina to the Castello. I liked the hotel because it is on a side street away from crowds, and it is a stone's through from the beaches. There are public and beach clubs nearby. This is a smaller hotel with nice amenities. "We were welcomed with such warmth and offered a glass of bubbles or a non-alcoholic drink on arrival. We were given a family room not far from the rocky beach, with stunning views and perfectly placed sunbeds within the cove. The only downside was that we got caught in heavy rain, which unfortunately flooded our room. The staff quickly moved us to a room on the 2nd floor inside the hotel—what a beautiful room!—but it did mean we had to move all our suitcases up and down, as we had to retun back...

"Our stay at villa Ireos was very enjoyable. Loved the location and the view was spectacular. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was not uncomfortable, but it would be nice if it was a little more refreshed, the shower is very small which is not unusual for Europe . "

"Upon our arrive we were checked in and our Passports taken for 4 hours. Nit sure what this is about as all other hotels just di IS check there and then. This was my only real issue with the hotel. Its set amongst the most beautiful gardens, on the waterfront. The area is quiet and we always felt safe, even when walking back from city centre at 1am. Forio centre is approx 20mins walk, an easy to get to and worth visiting. The staff at reception were ok, but the staff at breakfast were amazing,...

"The suite was gorgeous. The thermal pools were delightful as was the staff. The dinner was delicious and so was breakfast. We loved walking down to the ocean and swimming off the dock. The views were incredible!"

"This is not a “luxury” property but is a tremendous value. Rooms are clean and well kept. The view is the main attraction here. If there’s a prettier view on this island I’ve not seen it. Well worth the money!!"

"A glorious resort and thermal spa in the charming town of Lacco Ameno, 10 minutes walk from the public beach and with several excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk. Staff is wonderful, the thermal pools varied and very restorative and our room was large and comfortable. My only criticism would be our tiny tiny shower cubicle but otherwise our five days there were great."
