"Very nice. I will definitely go back and recommend. Best 5 star hotel on our italy trip. My family loved it. They had a 5 percent "discretionary" tip added to my bill which came as a surprise. I like to tip myself, which i did while i was there. I asked them ti remove it and they did. Ive stsyed at olenty of places thst have a service fee, which i don't have a problem with as long as its clearly stated before i check in. "Old school Italian hospitality with modern touches throughout. Lovely thermal pools and spa. Thoughtful and helpful staff. Good breakfast and coffee, eaten on terrace. Very clean. Daily beach towel provided in room. Clay tennis courts cam be booked too, arrange ahead. Location is excellent in Lacco Ameno. Daily passagiata is easy. Entertainment in the evening. Close to beach and thermal baths. Staff welcoming and made a difference. Bus/taxi nearby. Many patrons return annually. A treat for us in Ischia."

"We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, and although the hotel itself was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing, we would not recommend it for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. Choose somewhere else where they will make an effort to make your stay feel a little more special. The breakfast selection was quite mediocre, and we ended up skipping breakfast during the last two days of our stay. However, the breakfast staff were very kind and polite, so the service was good. It's a good hotel for families, as it's close to the beach and has several pools. The bar staff were also very nice, helpful, and polite. We opted not to have dinner at the hotel because we tried the lunch twice and were quite disappointed. The menu selection was very limited, and the staff were, unfortunately, not very friendly. Our room also had an issue with the air conditioning, which was incredibly noisy. We notified the reception staff, but the problem was never addressed. In the end, we had to turn it off at night so we could sleep. On top of that, our room was filled with ants and tiny spiders. My husband forgot his shirt at the hotel and was told by the reception staff that there was no lost-and-found service. Fortunately, the very kind and helpful beach staff assisted us, and the shirt was indeed located in the lost and found. The beach staff were excellent throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time in Ischia, but we wish we had chosen a better hotel for our stay."

We would have given it a 5 STAR rating if it was not for a very rude night desk clerk who was very unhelpful and disrespectful to both me and my wife any time we attempted to seek help from him. We tried to avoid him whenever possible. All the other workers were very nice and the property was very nice."
