Lucky with weather so we’re able to sit and have a drink by the pond. Cooked breakfast a bonus. Quiet setting just outside chard which was easy to find with ample parking"

"Property is beautiful and in a lovely setting. Strange set up where I received an email saying my booking was at risk as I’d given incorrect card details to secure the booking. Payment was due to be taken on arrival. Turns out the hotel needed payment up front and this is why we received the email. This seemed unprofessional and a little odd. The food was gorgeous (breakfast and dinner). Could benefit from a lounge area as there was nowhere comfortable to sit after dinner so we went back to our room. "
