"The room was extremely clean and well kept. All the staff were kind and helpful. The morning pastries were a nice touch. Very fresh. The pool was refreshing. Close proximity to air of restaurants and stores relatively in close proximity."

"I arrived at 3pm, I was immediately informed "check in is at 4". I had luggage so said I was happy to wait . When I asked about breakfast i was told they dont offer breakfast. I pulled up their website which states complimentary breakfast offered. I was then asked to book another hotel as they stated they had not received my booking/money (booked&paid in full in March thro Expedia) & that the breakfast offer on their old website. Id mentioned a dietry allergy & this was used as another reason...

"Main issue was the housekeeper using a burning vacuum. It smelled like burnt vacuum everyday and 1 night was so bad that we were coughing and had trouble breathing. We could hear other people coughing from it as well. My husband told the front desk, which came to our floor and acknowledged the smell but did nothing about it. The room was decent, clean when we arrived, and felt like it was recently updated. I do think everything was spaced too far apart though. I couldn’t even reach the night...

"At first we thought we were going to be treated as VIPs and have a great room. However, when we walked in, the room did not smell so fresh. It seemed they used some scent to cover the bad smell. The carpet did not seem clean either. There was dust all throughout the light fixtures in the bathroom. The whole room actually needed a thorough and complete updating. There were 2 bathrobes there that needed to be replaced because they both were in tatters. They also needed to replace the towels as...

"What a pleasant surprise to find this iconic motel! vintage vibe with modern rooms, we would definitely book again. Room 225 was super quiet and away from elevator and pool, but Room 218 for my travel partner was next elevator and was noisy through the night and early morning so I would avoid that room."

"Excellent family hotel. The amenities are truly awesome with free snacks, ice cream, soft drinks and more. It is a great overall place to stay and so close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and other great local attractions. The rooms are large and comfortable, though slightly dated and some things that could use maintenance (like broken door knobs). I would recommend especially for families with younger kids."
