"NOT A REAL LOCATION. There was nothing there. Neighbors said this was a scam. Expedia ended up helping us find a local hotel room though the location was not as good. DO NOT BOOK THIS LOCATION -- it needs to be taken off the website."

It must be said that a younger traveller will probably be more comfortable with the low-touch approach (text check in, code-locked doors), but they've clearly made an effort to be more accessible to a traveler looking for something more traditional. "Clean, spacious, well designed room with everything needed gir a great stay …. And so much more. The balcony was a great place to sit, gave coffee etc. can’t say enough about the beautiful grounds and amenities like indoor and outdoor pool areas, etc! Enjoyed staying at Vacation Village in the Berkshire and hope to return next time I am in the area. "

"The room was fantastic - lots of space and well laid out. Having a kitchen is always very helpful. The property was well kept and clean. I love the rustic vibe. The amenities were awesome - the kids spent all day in the large outdoor pool. We also enjoyed the arcade and mini-golf. The whole area is clean and comfortable. Staff were very responsive through text - which was handy. We had a little issue, but it was handled quickly. All-in-all, the whole family loved the room, had a great time at the resort, and felt welcomed by the staff. We look forward to coming back again next year. "

"The lobby was different and dramatic. Liked that the eating area was raised above it on the second floor and gave a view of the hotel and surrounding scenery. Breakfast was adequate - nothing special but good. We did have a bit of trouble with the toilet in our room which we were able to fix without calling the desk. Would definitely stay there again if we return to visit."
