"As the self-appointed Chlorox Wipe Queen, I (Mrs. Eric) declare that I found my wipes just as white after I used them in our 4th floor room as they were when I plucked them from the packaging. As this is an older coastal property, I expect a bit of moisture-related yuck, but there was none to find. Clean as a whistle! Also, the staff has been historically very pleasant. "We have stayed at this Best Western location many times over the last 5 or 6 years, but this was our worst experience. The rooms were mostly clean. The breakfast was mostly fine. The staff was mostly friendly. The pool was not clean - as in, we couldn't swim in it - and we came during spring break. My biggest issue was with the person at the front desk when we checked in. "The shower was moldy in both rooms I was put in. The first room had one screw holding the safety latch thing on the door so they put me in another room since they had no one to put in a screw!!!! The pool to which they share with Best Western next door was ABSOLUTLY NASTY. Broken umbrellas, broken chairs and FILTHY tables where you wouldn't want to put your drink down on them.
